Australia is the second richest country on the planet.*
16.5 million east Africans are starving to death.
On Thursday 17 November, you can join the Canberra art community and do something to help!
Join us at 6pm on Thursday 17 November at Megalo Print Studio and Gallery and purchase works by a number of highly regarded artists, whilst supporting the East-African food crisis.
All funds raised will go to the Uganda Village Project (UVP) and CARE Australia - an organisation currently registered with the AusAID Dollar for Dollar Campaign.
Both organisations are working hard to deal with the current crisis in East-Africa and to improve community resilience to drought and famine.
Work will be on display 15-17 November 9.30am - 5pm and will be available for purchase on the night.
Guest Speakers: UVP representative, Melanie Poole, Alexandra Blaise Balmer of CARE Australia and Jon Stanhope.
