The Megalo team has designed and screen printed a poster, to which everyone is invited to contribute. Your artwork can be printed in any medium, lithography, relief or screen printed – it can be text based, doodles, drawings, marks – whatever – but your part needs to be A3 in size and portrait in format.
MEGABLAH is an opportunity for artists to be part of a broadsheet project which aims to:
~ showcase artists who have an association with Megalo Print Studio
~ promote the diversity of print activity in Canberra
~ provide an opportunity to make a print outside of usual formats and
~ be fun!
Eventually Megalo hopes to have a mega-folio of fabulous prints, which we will exhibit, promote and possibly sell to raise funds for Megalo. Artists who participate in MEGABLAH will have materials provided free of charge and will receive 3 prints from the edition of 20.
One set of prints will be used for display/exhibition purposes and one set will be retained for the Megalo archive.Remaining prints may be sold by Megalo
