MEGALO CLASS TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

ENROLMENTS & MEMBERSHIP

Class participants are required to be financial members of Megalo for insurance purposes. As a result, course fees for participants who are new to Megalo include a 12 month membership fee of $70 (standard) or $50 (concession). If participants enrol in additional classes during the same year they receive the discounted, member’s rate for those courses. Members receive one free studio access day, invitations to exhibitions, monthly e-news, and can participate in Megalo projects + member exhibitions.


CANCELLATIONS OF A CLASS

All classes require a minimum number of enrolments to proceed. Participants will be notified at least one week prior to the scheduled commencement of a class if the class is to be cancelled. In the event of a cancellation a full refund will be made.


WITHDRAWAL FROM A CLASS

As the course fees are calculated on a minimum number of enrolments, withdrawals received within 2 weeks of the scheduled start date will only receive a refund of part of the course fee (equal to the course fee less a cancellation charge of $130 to cover payment of the tutor). Withdrawals received within 7 days of the course commencement will receive a partial class credit if a medical certificate is provided; withdrawals within 7 days without a certificate and instances of non-attendance without notification will not receive a refund or credit.


At the start of each course participants will receive a short WHS briefing. Participants will be expected to comply with Megalo’s WHS and COVID-19 Safety protocols, and Megalo’s general code of conduct, throughout the duration of the course.
