In 2015 Megalo sought financial support to run three targeted community workshops in Screen Printed Posters and Design to coincide with Youth Homelessness, Reconciliation and Mental Health Weeks in 2016. We were overwhelmed with how quickly the funds were raised but not surprised at the enthusiasm of our generous donors.

This exhibition is the outcome of Megalo’s partnership with Youth Care Canberra, HandsOn Studio and Thunderstone Aboriginal and Land Management Services. The aim of the workshops was for the staff of Megalo to share their expertise and teach basic screen printing skills to individuals with no printmaking experience. 

We are extremely grateful that this project and exhibition was made possible by the Australian Cultural Fund and the generous donations to our fundraising campaign.
