Calling all printmakers - things are heating up and its time to celebrate the Megalo Wayzgoose Exhibition!
If you’ve never heard of a wayzgoose before, its an annual printmakers tradition dating back to the mid-1700s when a printing house would take its employees out for an outing or dinner to celebrate the printers’ work. We will be marking our very own wayzgoose this year with an exhibition for printmakers of all stripes - whether you are an etcher, screen printer, lithographer or relief roller - the Megalo Wayzgoose is for printmakers to come together!

There is no entry fee to enter the Wayzgoose exhibition - simply join as a Megalo member or become a Friend of Megalo to join in the celebration!

Important Information:
Size restrictions and entry
You can enter up to three works that incorporate some form of printmaking into the Wayzgoose Exhibition, as long as the total size of artworks does not exceed 150cm in either direction.
A single work shouldn’t exceed 150cm in height or width, however this means you can enter a series of up to three smaller works if together they do not exceed this size limit.
All works will be delivered unframed. All works by Megalo Members and Friends of Megalo that do not exceed the size limits are eligible for the exhibition. However we are not a large gallery so we may not be able to accept all works submitted and will contact you if this is the case.

Framing
Megalo uses our magnet system to hang unframed works on paper. If your work is framed you will need to provide any hanging equipment needed to install the work.

Don’t forget to add 40% Gallery Commission on to the sale price of your work!

This print market is a wonderful opportunity to enter your work in a market of fun and spotlight your art for the local community. The Wayzgoose Print Market is a celebration of prints and works on paper that is fully staffed and free to enter. Because this is a celebration of our members and the Megalo Wayzgoose, we will sell your works with a reduced commission of only 20%. If you are not a member, join today or become a Friend of Megalo to enter your works in the market.
Unlike other markets, that means that you can sell your work at Megalo without the pressure of managing a stall and zero signup fees so that more of the sales go back to you while supporting Megalo to continue to run our programs and opportunities.Simply sign up for updates and deliver your works wrapped and labelled to Megalo before Saturday 9th November.
