The title of my work is the pursuit of Happiness. I have portrayed the moment of a satisfactory smile after working the whole day and taking your share to your home. Village life is simple and so are the goals of the villagers. They have their own ways of seeking happiness, simple yet tough. They do their work without using any electric machines and so did I, by applying the woodcut colour technique. It's a printmaking technique that requires hand carving on a wooden sheet and applying ink on the surface. It gives me a realization that the pursuit of happiness is in the hardships of life.
